Back to my captivity-- It's gone really well so far. Like really well. In fact about a jillion times better than I expected. Having a room I call my 'office' may have something to do with this. I'm working with girls youth and they are always exciting. You never know what you're going to get. They may hate you one day and the next you are their bestest friend on every continent. Keeps things so thrilling. Speaking of thrilling, I'm teaching them the thriller dance in a few weeks (chels I need you here to teach with me!) We get to do so many cool activities with them. Once a week we take the girls skiing, which is pretty awesome. Another thing that's awesome is taking pictures of myself looking like a duck while waiting for the girls to go to the bathroom.
The first week of work I met a sweet girl in my new employee orientation. After we exchanged a bit about each other she asked where I lived. We found out we live just down the street from each other. She then asked how I get to work everyday, I told her I walk and she immediately offered to drive me everyday. Ummm wha?
Can you say biggest tender mercy of my life? I Can. I can't even tell you how much of a blessing it's been to not walk to work in the dark or walk home when I'm exhausted. I think I owe her some sort of a fruit basket or something. Notice the darkness/cold/beautifulness.

At work we have deer everywhere! It is so crazy cool. All the sudden you will look up and around 20 deer will be standing right in front of you. You look at them like what the hay are you doing here! And in their brain they are asking you the same question. It's great until you walk through the grass had have to dodge millions of pellets of poo. Sometimes I take pictures of these herbivores... and then sometimes they run from me. Typical.
Well, that about wraps up my life. Work, work and more work. However, I will admit that I have been attending a few games recently for a certain team that I'm not so certain I want to support. I just don't think my mouth and vocal cords will ever work together to yell the words, "go cougars." Seriously. Such a dilemma.
Do you know what tomorrow is??????
TGIF!
