Seriously, I don't think anything is better than going to general conference in Salt Lake City. For reals. This conference was especially great, why might you ask? Because I only got to see my favorite cousin in the whole wide world!!!
Kacie is my best cuz. We were roomies at school for a few years and then she flew out of my life and went on a mission to Japan and just got back in May. This was the first time I'd seen her since she'd been back and it was so happy. It felt like we had just been gone for summer break. Can you say glorious?
(No these are not alcoholic drinks. I repeat, not. Just the shear appearance of evil.)
Highlights:
Sitting close up plazie seats for the opening session of conference.
Asking Elder Jose L. Alonso (who gave this talk Saturday morning) on the street if he had any extra tickets Sunday afternoon. I obviously didn't realize who it was until after he answered, "I'm sorry, I just gave them away!" and then walked off. Wowww... sometimes I should actually open my eyes.
Finding the perfect photo op place in the family history center of the Joseph Smith building. How could we pass this up?
Driving around to 8 chapels within a 1 square mile radius in Pleasant Grove looking for a chapel broadcasting conference. You'd think that one of them would be open. And when exactly did Utah get so so so many chapels?
Trying and loving Spam for the first time!
Hearing the gasps of the audience when it was announced there will be a SECOND temple in Provo, UT! I drove by the site the night it was announced and saw people had placed balloons and a banner across the fence in front of it that read, 'Happy Day!' So rad.
Watching how excited President Uchtdorf and President Eyring were when the Prophet finally walked in to conference Saturday morning an hour after it started. I literally thought they were going to jump out of their seats for joy.
Seeing my old roomies and friends. Not to mention APOSTLES!
(no, Shawnie was not an old roomie)
Listening to this solid talk by Sister Dalton, this smart talk by Elder Callister, and this sweet talk by President Uchtdorf. Oh, and How could I forget Elder Hales? This was powerful.
I could really go on and on, but I won't. We'll end by listening one of my favorite songs. I truly felt like this was an overwhelming theme this conference.
Until April.

Oh Brittany, I AM so happy, especially with my lover.
Hey Woogie, thanks for the blogs. I love reminiscing about last weekend. Also, thanks for the shout-out. Shout-outs about the cousin are always a capital idea.
